Divine Exchanges

Do you know you have been redeemed? And do you know that revelation knowledge of redemption will enable you to walk free from sin consciousness? However, you should be aware of this or else the enemy will take advantage of you!

You see, our redemption was bought by the blood of Jesus and our understanding of this truth, and walking consistently in the light of the truth will enable us to walk victoriously over the enemy. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. In the Old Testament, these curses revolve around three things:

Poverty, sickness and sin or second death.

Sin or Second death: The bible says the wages of sin is death, but the gift of eternal life is in Christ Jesus Romans 6:23. He gave us eternal life in place of death, He was made sin for us, and so we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Sin was exchanged for righteousness. The second death, hell and damnation were exchanged for eternal life.

We need not live in sin anymore; we will not go to hell because of Jesus’ sacrifice. So we need to understand that we are righteous through Jesus’ sacrifice. Our righteousness comes from Jesus, not from what we have done or not have done. Jesus redeemed us by His blood and purchased with the same blood eternal life for us. Understanding this will enable us to walk tall in righteousness and dominate sin in our life. We must be conscious of our righteousness and not be sin conscious.

Sickness: Another divine exchange was sickness for health. Isn’t that wonderful news? That someone will take your sickness and disease away so you could walk in divine health all the day of your life. When Jesus went to the cross and He was beaten severely by the Romans soldiers, He was fulfilling a divine prophecy from Isaiah who prophesied that through the stripes of Jesus we will be healed. That is why 1 Peter 2: 24 says we were healed already by the stripes of Jesus, So rise up and claim that for yourself, you have been redeemed from sickness.

Poverty: Jesus redeemed us from the curse of poverty and exchanged it for riches. The bible says in 2 Corinthians 8:9 that Jesus, though He was rich became poor so that we might be made rich through His poverty. If you are a believer, you have been redeemed from poverty; you do not need to be poor anymore. You do not need to go through life in poverty because prosperity is part of the package of redemption. In fact, every believer has millionaire status in them.

We need to allow these great truths of the word to sink into us, we need the revelation of it to develop in our spirits through constant and continuous meditation on what God said about it in His word because it has to start from the inside before the full manifestation is seen outside.

Allow the word of God regarding your redemption to dwell richly in you so no one or the devil can talk you out of it.
